The Purpose:

It is to make a 3d printed toy for kids aged 5 to 8 years old.

 

Target Audience:

Boys from ages 5 to 8. This audience is being targeted because rockets provoke the idea of explosions and flight which mostly interest the boy gender. Even though this toy will mostly interest boys, that doesn't mean girls can't play with this toy.This toy fits the age group because the kids between these age groups are effected by cartoons and movies that have rockets, explosions, and flying involved. These age groups are quite unreliable when it comes to playing with toys that could lead to injuries, but this toy has been design proparly for avoiding injuries. 

 

Toy description:

This toy will be like a distraction or decoy for the parents of the kids to use so that it would be easier for the parents to feed their kids with vegetables. Carrots provide a strong amount of vitamin A, with this toy as a decoy parents can start feeding their children carrots. One way that parents could feed their children with carrots is by moving the carrot like a rocket and moving the carrot towards the kid's mouth, then ask for permission to open the mouth and slowly place it in his/her mouth. There are many different ways if using this rocket to feed carrots to kids. This toy has no mechanical functions, it is just a solid toy which doesn't move without any human interaction.

Design Improvements:

This toy model was fairly designed and had kept its goal clear. The goal for this toy while designing it was to make this toy capable of avoiding more injuries as possible. Another goal while designing this toy was to make this toy look like a carrot, the colour doesn't need to look much like a carrot but the shape of the toy needs to look a bit like a carrot. If this toy would look like a carrot then the parents of the kids could use this toy as a distraction so that they could feed their kids with vitamin A which is provided from carrots. Although this design was fairly completed, there are still a few putbacks to it. One feature that could be improved in the design is the cone shaping, this design should have been longer, as in the tip and the back of the design being more farther then each other. That improvement would have made this toy look more realistic and just like a carrot. The colour of the toy couldn't be changed because the 3d printers are not much functionable which doesn't allow the toy to be in any colour except gray. If the toy was in red or orange colour then it would be easier to recgonize the toy as a carrot. When these improvements can be completed, the toy design would look brilliant.
